Yeah I know you may be wondering why I didn't include this in the other pedestal/sphere pack I put up [link] . It's because I honestly had no intention to put up anything else but then I started to think about it and decided that X2's 'version' should probably have it's own release as well.

A single sphere and Sphere container (pedestal) from the Ps2 game: Final Fantasy X-2

I was not sure what the particular sphere here goes to or it's name so I left it as is for the name being 'sphere'. As far as the 'pedestal' included, that too, did not have a proper name so it was either 'Sphere container' or pedestal.
They could not be smoothed out completely in blender. Feel free to fix.

These items are used in Final Fantasy X-2 when searching for Spheres all over Spira.

***ABOUT THE SPHERE:
Because there was no sphere in the files I have, to match what you see in game (as seen in example here [link] and here [link]) , there were several copies of the particular sphere that you see here. I would have to assume that this was used in game with special animation/effects added. Feel free to add the desired effect as you like with whatever editing program you use.

Culling options ARE required for these models, AND, scaling is a must.

The preview image of the sphere is nothing more than a close up shot in Xnalara to get a better view of the object.
Lighting in the main preview image was also increased for better viewing and all previews included are shown with both culling options enabled.

Final Fantasy X, X2, it's objects, and it's characters belong completely to Square Enix.

For some reason I cant remember seeing this Pedestal at all... But was a long time ago that I played X-2 so i probably forgot. Great work either way!

You see it at various points in the game. I know for sure it's seen at the beginning somewhere. The sphere... I'm not sure either but it was in the files haha. And thank you ^_^
